When you think of safety equipment, “fun” probably isn’t the first word that comes to mind. But Simpson Racing Products set out to change that with Simpson Fan Day. This open-to-the-public gathering has been on hiatus for quite some time, but it returned in early October this year and the company hopes to make it an annual event.

Held at Simpson World East in Mooresville, North Carolina, Simpson Fan Day featured appearances by drivers Erik Jones, Ryan Newman, BJ McLeod, and Cole Custer, who were on hand to meet visitors and sign autographs. Along with this were other great attractions, including free giveaway bags, specials on safety gear, and a raffle for a Stilo helmet valued at over $1,000.

Judging by the many smiling faces seen throughout the day, it looks like this event is a sure bet to come out of retirement for good!
